Bilingual Clinical Scheduling Assistant - Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Your role will be pivotal in maintaining seamless clinic operations and enhancing patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Front Desk staff, Lead Medical Assistants, Clinical team, Care Team Assistants, and scheduling staff at Legacy Contact Center to optimize provider schedules.
  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and manage scheduling issues, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • Maintain wait lists and assist with reminder calls to enhance patient care access.
  • Engage in real-time communication to address scheduling mistakes and update patient registration information.
  • Assist with managing portal messages and attend requested trainings to stay updated.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or EHRS medical documentation training.
  • Maintain BLS/CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic setting is essential.
  • Proficient in data entry within an EHRS.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clear, concise, and diplomatic communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Frequent phone communication with patients; Spanish-speaking preferred.
